Exploring this during coaching can help clarify what really matters and whether the route we are on is taking us forward. By reflecting on what matters to us in life and how we make sense of the world, we can start to define a desired future state that we can actively work towards.

Quickly becoming effective in a new role in the same or a different organisation is a significant predictor of future success. Doing this requires the ability to clearly understand what is required in the role, your own personal strengths and development areas and an appreciation of the wider systemic factors.
Using a clear framework to explore the different areas of the role before and during the transition, to enable the creation of a well thought out plan will help you to hit the ground running.

High performing teams are unique but share some aspects in common - a clear sense of purpose, well defined roles and responsibilities and a feeling of safety within the team that the members will be listened to.
Creating a high performing team requires leadership that is able to step back and let the team take the initiative but is also sensitive to the needs and capabilities of the individuals that make up the team.
Coaching enables the leader to explore these elements and with an experienced external party who can help provide a different perspective and perhaps suggest models and frameworks that can help structure the development of the team.
When ready, the work can be extended into facilitation sesssions with the team as a whole.
