Hi, I’m Calum Byers. 

I work with senior leaders at moments when the quality of their thinking matters more than ever, when decisions are complex, expectations are high and familiar ways of operating no longer quite fit.

My role is not to provide answers, but to create the conditions in which clear thinking, sound judgement and meaningful progress can emerge.

My background

Before becoming a coach, I spent over 30 years in senior leadership roles across sales, commercial, operational, and technical environments. As a COO and a MD I have led international teams, managed complex transformations and navigated the realities of influence, ambiguity, and accountability from the inside. I have been on the board of an international JV and a German SAAS business and a director of various UK entities

This experience shapes how I work. I understand the pressures of senior roles, the limits of authority, and the challenge of making good decisions when there is no obvious right answer.

I work in partnership with my clients, combining challenge and support in a way that respects both their capability and their responsibility. I am there as a thinking partner, not an adviser.

- Operate in influence‑based environments
- Want space to think clearly, not be told what to do
